A lion walked into a farmyard. The farmer, in hopes of catching him, shut the gate. When the lion realized he was trapped, he went on a rampage and began to slaughter all of the chickens, sheep and oxen. The farmer, terrified for his life, grew pallid and let the lion escape. The farmer grieved for his lost livestock, yet his beloved wife merely shrugged, “Serves you right for trying to control a beast whose roar alone makes you quiver.”
